How to Get Started with Bookings & Walk-Ins in Zylu (5-Minute Guide)

This guide will walk you through managing bookings, walk-ins, adding new customers, selling services and products, and sending invoices through Zylu. By following these steps, you’ll streamline your salon or business workflow quickly and efficiently.

Steps :


1. Basic Bookings and Walk-in

  • Booking: Start by navigating to the Booking section. Here, you can either choose to create a scheduled booking or manage a walk-in.
  • Walk-in: If a customer arrives without a prior booking, select Walk-in, add services and proceed to checkout.


2. Create New Customer or Select Existing Customer
  • Search for Customer: When booking or adding a service, you can either search for an existing customer by their name, phone number, or email.
  • Add New Customer: If the customer is new, click New Customer and fill in required details like phone number, full name, and gender.


3. Sell Services and Products
  • Add Services: From the booking or walk-in screen, click on Service. Choose the desired services from the list and apply them.
  • Add Products: You can also add retail products at checkout. Simply select the product and apply it to the sale.


4. Send Invoice via SMS/WhatsApp or Print Invoice
  • Invoice Options: After checkout, you can send the invoice via:
    • WhatsApp: Through the device or WhatsApp API (ensure integration is done).
    • SMS: Via the SMS API.
    • Print: Click Print, review the invoice, and print it for the customer.


5. Add/Edit Services
  • Navigate to Menu > Manage > Services to add or edit services offered by your business.


6. Add/Edit Products
  • To manage products, go to Main Menu > Inventory > Products where you can add new retail products or edit the existing ones in your inventory.


7. Running Campaigns

Notes:
  • Ensure that services and products are correctly applied before confirming the booking or completing checkout.
  • When sending invoices via WhatsApp API, ensure your WhatsApp integration is properly set up.


Tips for Efficiency:
  • Use the Search feature to quickly find customers by phone number or name.
  • Regularly update the system with new products, services, and employee information to streamline the booking and sales workflow.
